The Privacy Office develops and implements policies, investigates privacy incidents and patient complaints, provides privacy training and education, conducts risk and impact assessments and serves as subject matter resource, providing guidance on privacy matters.
The Compliance Office serves as a subject matter resource with responsibility for promoting institutional compliance program effectiveness and effective risk-based management. The Compliance Office strives to create a culture that promotes a collaborative, risk-based decision approach to providing guidance, and practical solutions to real-time regulatory challenges.
The Release of Information (ROI) division of the Compliance and Privacy Office is the centralized office for release of information (medical records request). Patients can access their medical records through our patient portal, Connect, or by completing an authorization form.
The Compliance and Privacy Office offers a variety of training and education programs. Our training schedules and topics are updated regularly to ensure they are current and meet institutional and regulatory requirements. We offer group, individual, general, and focused training and education programs.
